Grant's (4) Christmas program was Thursday night. He was very excited about singing all his songs, walking up the church aisle and being on stage. He practiced his songs and outlined how the entire night would unfold for us. I love his enthusiasm. Here is some footage of Grant practicing before the actual performance. He sang an ad lib song. Gavin (6) could not be upstaged, so he performed as well. (Sorry, for whatever reason, my youtube video of the boys singing will not play here. )
But, I think it has gone too far:
Grant: Mom, guess what I just did?
Me: What'd you do, bud?
Grant: Umm, when I was going pee just now, I peed to "I Wish You a Merry Christmas."
Me: Ummm...How EXACTLY did you do that?
Grant (leaning back, holding hands between legs): I just peed a little bit each time like this, "I wish you a Merry Christmas, I wish you a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year" (picture his singing, holding back, letting out, and making whizzing noises with each note)
Well, we always hoped he would show interest in playing a musical instrument one day.
KEEP BELIEVING
You need to call "America's Got Talent" right this minute!! This one's a lock.
