Dear Brian,
The loneliness is starting to settle in. It is very tempting to keep Gavin up in the evenings past his bedtime for some company. It is equally as tempting to stay snuggled in our bed in the mornings sleeping the day away.
There are two small motivators forcing to me to face each new day right now:
KEEP BELIEVING
small yet HUUUGE!!
ReplyDeleteWhat better motivation could there be?!
ReplyDeleteYour boys are very sweet! Hugs to all of you as you miss Brian daily.
ReplyDeleteHuge reasons to keep believing!
ReplyDeleteThose are two pretty dang cute reasons to keep believing!
ReplyDeleteHi Angie
ReplyDeleteMy name is Susan, and we have never met. I am good friends with Rhonda Shields. They are our neighbors and we go to church with them. About a year ago, I started reading your blog after Rhonda told me about your situation. I often pray for you and read each and every entry. Your strength comes from The One who created you, and your faith will sustain you. From one mom/wife/christian sister to another.... keep believing.
Hi Angie,
ReplyDeleteIsn't is wonderful to have two children to keep you involved and motivated. They will continue to be your motivators until only you and God need to. Your two boys will give you new and wonderful memories. Keep sharing them with Brian.
God bless, Karen
So when do you want a sleepover??? I know it's never going to replace the void that has been left in your life, but we are all here for you...and it just may give you something to look forward to.
ReplyDeleteLove you,
Kris
What beautiful motivators they are. Thinking of you, Angie!
ReplyDeleteTwo small but very GOOD reasons. Keep believing.
ReplyDeleteThat's the best two reasons to keep going.
ReplyDeleteOh, one day in bed wouldn't hurt...with pizza and a movie.
ReplyDeleteTwo VERY good reason. I have an award for you over at my place.
ReplyDeleteHugs
And they are truly the best motivation . . .
ReplyDeleteMuch love to you . . .
What cute motivators... Hugs
ReplyDeleteI love your blog! Thankyou!!
ReplyDeleteI just heard about your husband and I am so so very sorry. I have been on vacation and finally sat down to read my fav blogs and just learned what happened. I am so sorry for what has happened and the hard times that are bound to come. We all love you very much. And hopefully this next bit will give you comfort, but reading about your family, your husband, your sons, and you has been so amazing. Even in these hard times you have such an amazing view on life with a beautiful attitude and lovely faith that even with such sadness you can make it look better. You are an amazing person with a equally amazing family.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful motivation. Wishing you all the very best!!
ReplyDeleteThose are fabulous pictures Angie. I'm glad you are finding your motivation in your sons. They are so blessed to have such a strong, wonderful mother like you. You are all in my prayers.
ReplyDeleteOh my gosh Angie. I lost track of you...I haven't been over in forever. I don't know what to say. I had no idea.
ReplyDeleteWhen my Dad died my Mom said us kids were what kept her getting out of bed in the morning. It's funny how we still managed to find time to argue about video games and keep things "normal".
I hurt for you. Really and truly. Such a devestating loss. I know.
One foot in front of the other....take one day at a time! No one expects this to be easy for you or for you to just pick up and take off. Take your time! Find the joy in everything and let Him be your strength to make it through these times! I know we all appreciate your honesty. You are an inspiration to so many! I love you honey...lean on us!!!!
ReplyDeleteShawn
Awesome smiles!
