A question for God

Dear God.

As you know, I question You a lot. My most often asked question is WHY! Why me? Why Brian? Why cancer? Why his speech? Why his RIGHT side? Why his brain? Why? Why? Why? I am reminded that you are all-powerful and all-knowing and I have no earthly idea what is going on in Heaven or the Spiritual realm. I take comfort in that when my earthly WHY's are not answered. Today, however, I have a HOW question.

How is it that you can make this

turn into this beauty in mere weeks,

Yet SMELL SO AWFUL!

For those of you who are not familiar, let's just say Bradford Pears and best admired from afar.

KEEP BELIEVING

  5. ooh is that YOUR pear tree? I am so jealous!!! DO you get pears? If so I have this awesome recipe for pear honey that you make out of just pears, pineapple juice, and sugar. It has the consistency and taste of honey, but it has a sweet fruity taste too. It is YUMMY! Let me know if you're interested!

  9. That is another beautiful of God's seemingly warped sense of humor. LOL! But it's also a reminder that there is beauty in even the stinkiest situations... ya just gotta stand back and look at the bigger picture. ;o)

  16. Ah yes. I won't tell you what we call those little devil trees here in Arizona. But I can tell you that it's not appropriate to say at church, as the title inspires thoughts of things that only go on in the bedroom... And worst of all, our entire church campus is filled with these things... but they're so beautiful. Lucky you. Sort of.
