Ever since I have known Brian, he has rooted for the underdog when he had no vested interest in either opponent. I am now rooting for my own hero- my underdog.

Facing life in the aftermath of losing my boyz' father, my husband of 12 years to a brain tumor in 2009. Continually adjusting ourselves in this new life of ours. Always journeying down an unfamiliar path. Yet we KEEP BELIEVING for our future.
Ever since I have known Brian, he has rooted for the underdog when he had no vested interest in either opponent. I am now rooting for my own hero- my underdog.

ReplyDeleteGirl, you have ALL our votes!
ReplyDeleteAw! What wonderful words and a great photo!
ReplyDelete"Here he comes to save the daaaaay!"
ReplyDeleteI am rooting for him too! Sending warm thoughts and wishes your way.
ReplyDeleteI have a soft spot in my heart for the underdog too.
ReplyDeleteNow that this lovely Underdog and his pack left our neighbourhood it's howling quiet here this summer! We still miss you. We pray/vote for you.
ReplyDeleteI am rooting for him too!!!!
ReplyDeleteA WISE wonderful friend of mine who passed away a couple years ago taught me the same exact thing..of course he was my sports buddy who taught me about picking a team and sticking with them through thick and thin year after year..and eventually your underdog will be the champ. I have to think that my friend Jim is the ultimate champ up in heaven w/ a Natural Light, recliner and Blues Hockey
ReplyDeleteI'm a root-for-the-underdog gal myself. Unless it's Tiger Woods--then I just want him to keep winning.
ReplyDeleteI'm especially rooting for your underdog.
Very cool.
ReplyDeleteAngie,
ReplyDeleteThat was perfect! Well, said.
And, you have two people in AZ who are rooting for your Underdog too!
Thoughts and prayers to both of you!
My wife Janet is today in the most pain of her life. Her GVH (graft vs.host) is the reason. It has been 18 months since the stem cell transplant that hopefully rid her body of Luekemia, was done.
ReplyDeleteThe pain continues and each day I pray for her as you do for you loved ones. I love your list and read it often,
I loved this post and it made me think of Janet.

Rooting for your Underdog!
ReplyDeleteA post so simple that speaks volumes.. great job Angie.
ReplyDeleteI echo what all the others have said....
ReplyDeleteHow sweet! I'm also voting for Brian and pray for him and pray for you guys often!
ReplyDeleteHope you are having a good weekend - Kellan
I agree. Underdogs are ALL the rage. And that T on Brian is downright perfect. :)
ReplyDeleteLOL.
ReplyDeleteGotta love (the) Underdog.
Snorkie loves the shows and started calling his sisters
"my dear little nutcases"...a
Riff Raff-ism...so silly.
Your underdog has many prayers.
Pax.
