grocery list

Today I asked the boys to quickly add anything to my grocery list that they thought we needed or that they could use in the next couple weeks.

Gavin handed me a small memo pad piece of paper with the following items:

milk
fruit gushers
puppy

I need to change where I grocery shop.

  4. Wait, is that a friend's dog or did you get a new dog for yourselves?

Angie, I thought you were not dog people! But, if it's yours, I'm sure you'll love it.

And fruit gushers? My kids love those things too. But whatever you do, don't take them into your new van because that shit sticks to the carpet like gum. TAKE IT FROM SOMEONE WHO LEARNED THE HARD WAY!!!

  5. Oh! There is nothing like a boy and his dog. My Danger Boy requires canine companionship to keep his heart and soul level.

  6. I found "Webkinz Pony" on my grocery list once. At least that wouldn't need flea baths!

Too funny, Angie. Gavin in awesome.

  9. MAYBE... Just maybe... a dog would be a good idea. One that is huggable and house broken.

  11. We got a new puppy in April. She is insane...and huge now...and has been a ton of trouble. But, I haven't heard my kids laugh as much as they have in the past couple of months. They love her!

  12. Wow, you have to give the kid credit for trying. I'm guessing you are just dog-sitting this little guy and didn't pick him up at Kroger?
